What Doesn't Kill you Only Makes you Stronger

Well, I have good news and bad news... let's get the bad news out of the way. I lost my job. Yup.:bademoticon:   If you've seen my gallery you know I'm a very artsy person, the job I had was was very technical and computer-y and I guess the reason I didn't do so well is because I was outside my element. It wasn't even a job I liked, I was just excited to finally have a job at a movie studio. Oh well, lesson learned, I need to stick to my strengths, ^^ It wasn't even an animation studio and my dream is to work in animation. So after the holidays I'll start applying for more art jobs, but this time ONLY the jobs I really love. Besides, it's not all bad, I still have commission artwork .  Plus now I have time to do more of my personal work. 

Now that that's out of the way, on to the good news! yesterday was my graduation ceremony from Art Institute! I now officially have my Bachelor's degree!      I got to see my friends from class and my teachers again, it was great. The best part for me was that the guest speaker was a guy who worked for Disney for 38 years. He talked about how important it is to persevere and never give up, so I won't. One more fabulous silver lining is that I get to spend more time with my family for the holidays. What doesn't kill me will only make me stronger!
